3 things I found interesting:

1. The work that Dr. Livingstone did in Africa.
2. The European powers so easily took control of the foreign colonies.
3. The Dreyfus affair concerned only one man, and yet it sparked so much pride within the jewish people.

2 things I learned:

1.   Thomas Edison had over 1,000 patents, I only knew about the lightbulb.
2. The Ottoman Empire still had some control as the Age of Imperialism began.
