Uprising

Sepoy Rebellion
India and Britain

After the British offended the Hindu and Muslim religions that they had controlled, the people finally took action.  Opposing the animal-fat cartridges that they were forced to used, they soon broke out into a full-attack mutiny.  Although they had similar intentions, the Hindus and Muslims could not even unite for this cause.  They quickly fell apart and in a little over a year, the British regained control of the area.
