Edison Invention

Motion Pictures



In October of 1888, Edison invented the very first video camera, known as a 'kinetoscope.'  This was the first device to successfully capture motion.  He began creating motion pictures with the help of the Kodak company, which eventually led to the present day movies that we watch so comfortably in theatres.
