Evolution
Charles Darwin
In 1859, Charles Darwin published "The Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection" which began a line of thinking formed around the basis that over many generations, the genetic structure of a species may change. They will be recreated to adapt to the conditions of the time or location. This theory caused complete chaos in the world for it went against everything that the Church, and the world, believed. It opened up a new window of belief and remains today a very controversial issue.
